The 6th Golden hands award competition was organized in the year of three jubilees with the cooperation of TIM ZIP company and Richemont Club Croatia. The competition was held during the TIM ZIP EXPO 2022 fair in Arena Zagreb.

All bakers and pastry masters, legal and physical persons from the territory of the Republic of Croatia, had the opportunity to participate in the Competition conditioned by submitting the artwork made of edible raw materials and in accordance with the Ordinance on Basic Criteria.

The competition presented nine creative, playful, peculiar, inventive creations made with special care and love.

Various motives served as an inspiration for the skilful hands of the competitors. While some stuck to the motive of baking and pastry profession, there were also those who found the idea solutions in the adventures of a captain or the game of the most famous animated characters – cat and mouse. The majestic feathers of the Turkey from Zagorje gave the impression that even inside the glass window it was aware of its beauty and strength.

The evaluation jury consisted of: Vladimir Bulić, President of the Board of TIM ZIP company and Director of the Richemont Club Croatia, Franjo Klarić, retired technologist of TIM ZIP and honorary member of the Richemont Club Croatia, prof. Ph.D. Duška Ćurić, Head of the Laboratory for Chemistry and Technology of Cereals at PBF and honorary member of the Richemont Club Croatia, Carlo Bock, President of the Richemont Club Luxembourg and Matteo Consulo, President of the Richemont Club Italy.

The winners of the Competition won a gold plaque and HRK 7,000.00 in each category, bakery and pastry. The second-place winners were awarded a silver plaque and HRK 3,000.00, and the third prize was a bronze plaque and HRK 1,000.00. All participants of the Competition received recognition for their participation.

Traditionally, the main sponsor of the Competition was the company DIAMANT from Austria, and their General Manager Markus Kagerer attended the ceremony and awarded the best pastry prize.

Wonderful performances are always expected at such competitions and this one really brought pleasant surprises and delighted the curious eyes of numerous national and international observers.
